1. Purpose of this Policy
1.1 This Responsible Play Policy explains the measures Endgame Competitions Ltd may use to encourage responsible participation in competitions.
1.2 This Policy applies together with the Terms and Conditions and the rules shown on each competition page.

2. Age Restriction
2.1 Endgame Competitions is for UK residents aged 18 years or over only.
2.2 By creating an account or entering a competition, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.
2.3 We may request proof of age, identity and address before accepting entries, releasing prizes or allowing continued account use.
2.4 If we believe an entrant is under 18 or has provided false information, we may suspend the account, void entries and withhold prizes.

3. Play Responsibly
3.1 Competitions should be entered for enjoyment only.
3.2 You should not enter competitions as a way to solve financial problems, recover previous spending or guarantee income.
3.3 You should only spend what you can afford.
3.4 You should not enter competitions if doing so may cause financial difficulty, distress or harm.

4. Account Limits
4.1 Endgame may provide tools or account controls to help customers manage participation.
4.2 These may include spending limits, entry limits, cooling-off periods, temporary account suspension, permanent account closure or marketing suppression.
4.3 Customers may request account limits by contacting [email protected].
4.4 We may ask for confirmation before applying, changing or removing limits.

5. Cooling-Off Periods
5.1 Customers may request a cooling-off period if they want to take a break from entering competitions.
5.2 During a cooling-off period, we may restrict the customer’s ability to enter competitions or receive marketing communications.
5.3 Cooling-off periods may not be removed early unless Endgame considers it appropriate and safe to do so.

6. Account Closure
6.1 Customers may request account closure by contacting [email protected].
6.2 Before closing an account, we may need to resolve any active entries, prizes, refunds, account credit, complaints or legal requirements.
6.3 Closing an account may affect access to entries, order history, account credit, promotions and membership benefits.

7. Self-Exclusion Style Restrictions
7.1 Customers may ask us to apply a longer restriction if they feel they should not take part in competitions.
7.2 Where such a restriction is applied, we may block entries, suspend marketing and prevent the creation or use of duplicate accounts.
7.3 Customers must not attempt to bypass restrictions by creating a new account or using another person’s account.

8. Monitoring and Intervention
8.1 Endgame may review account activity where we reasonably believe participation may be excessive, harmful, suspicious or unsafe.
8.2 We may contact a customer, apply limits, suspend an account, refuse entries or close an account where we consider this appropriate.
8.3 We may also refuse entries where we suspect fraud, multiple accounts, abuse, payment issues or breach of the Terms and Conditions.

9. Marketing
9.1 Customers can unsubscribe from marketing at any time.
9.2 Where an account is restricted, suspended or closed for responsible play reasons, we may suppress marketing communications where practicable.
9.3 Service messages relating to accounts, entries, payments, prizes, complaints or legal matters may still be sent where necessary.

10. Support
10.1 If you feel that entering competitions is becoming a problem, you should stop entering and seek support.
10.2 You may contact Endgame at [email protected] to request limits, a cooling-off period or account closure.
10.3 You may also wish to seek independent support from money advice, debt advice or wellbeing support services.

11. Updates
11.1 We may update this Responsible Play Policy from time to time.
11.2 The latest version will be shown on the Website.
